Salvatore Marino started his own project in 2017, drawing on five generations of winegrowing in Pachino. His bush vines lie in Contrada Buonivini, close to the Vendicari wetlands. Much of the work is still done with a hoe and pruning shears, guided by the lunar calendar, while manure and green crops nourish the soil. Nero d’Avola and Catarratto carry the story into the bottle.
