Refund Policy
1. General
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made via https://honestwines.nl. Honest Wines sells wine and other alcoholic beverages.
2. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
In accordance with Dutch and EU consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed alcoholic beverages once the seal has been broken after delivery.
If the product is sealed and unused, the right of withdrawal applies within 14 days of receipt, unless an exception under applicable consumer law applies.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify Honest Wines in writing by email within 14 days of receiving the order.
3. Conditions for Returns
Returned products must:

Be unused and unopened

Be in their original packaging

Be suitable for resale
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
4. Return Procedure
To request a return, please contact us at info@honestwines.nl and include:

Reason for return
You will receive return instructions by email. Returns sent without prior notification may not be accepted.
5. Return Costs
If you make use of your right of withdrawal, return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, unless the return is due to an error by Honest Wines or a damaged delivery.
6. Refunds
Once a return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days using the original payment method.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify Honest Wines within 48 hours of delivery by email.
Please include clear photos of:

The packaging
In such cases, Honest Wines will provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
8. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:

Opened or unsealed alcoholic beverages

Products damaged due to improper handling after delivery
9. Liability
Honest Wines is not liable for damage or loss occurring after delivery, unless required by mandatory law.
10. Complaints & Disputes
Complaints should be submitted by email within a reasonable time after discovery. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
