Ordering & Account
Do I need an account to place an order?
No, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account, however, allows you to track your orders, save your favorites, and enjoy a faster checkout experience.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Once an order is placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled directly through the webshop. If you need to make a change or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help, but we can only cancel or modify the order if it hasn’t been shipped yet.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to follow your delivery in real time. If you're based in Diemen & Duivendrecht, we will deliver your order personally, so in this case there will be no track & trace but you can email or whatsapp us with any questions.

Are your wines organic or biodynamic?
We carefully select wines that are made with passion and respect for the terroir. More and more this means they are organic or biodynamic, but not always. Our focus is on the quality, personality, and character of the wine rather than just the labels. Each product page includes detailed information about the wine’s characteristics.
Can I request a specific vintage or bottle?
We try to offer a wide range of vintages, but availability depends on the producer. Please contact us if you are looking for something specific.
Why do you have a “Rare Grapes” category?
Europe is full of incredible, undiscovered grape varieties. While the mass market often focuses on just a few popular types, we love to encourage wine lovers to explore the lesser-known grapes. This category gives you the chance to discover their unique character, power, and personality - wines that surprise and inspire beyond the familiar.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices on our webshop include 21% VAT.
Can I get a discount for bulk orders?
For larger orders or professional purchases, please contact us directly for a personalized offer.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
If the product is sealed and unused, you can contact us for a return, within 14 days of receiving the order.
Do you cover the return costs?
If you make use of your right of withdrawal, return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, unless the return is due to an error by Honest Wines or a damaged delivery.
Wine Advice
How should I store my wine?
Most wines should be kept in a cool, dark place with a consistent temperature (ideally 12–16°C). Bottles with corks should be stored horizontally to keep the cork moist. For wines in screw caps, PET, or other closures, horizontal storage isn’t necessary—just keep them upright and away from direct sunlight or heat.
How do I choose the right wine?
Every wine on our webshop comes with tasting notes, food pairings, and a little story about its personality. Not sure what suits your mood or meal? Reach out to us, we love playing wine matchmaker and helping you discover something deliciously unexpected!

How much does shipping cost?
Free Local Delivery
We love bringing wine to our neighbors! That’s why we offer free delivery within Diemen and Duivendrecht. Your order will be personally delivered by us, so it arrives safely and ready to enjoy.
Shipping Across the Netherlands
If you’re outside our local area, no worries, we ship with PostNL. Shipping costs are €6,95 per order.
Free shipping across NL on orders over €60.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery is within 1–3 business days.
Will you check my age upon delivery?
All alcohol deliveries require an age verification. Please have a valid ID ready when your delivery arrives to make the handover quick and hassle-free.
Can I pick up my order?
We don’t have a physical store, so we can’t offer in-person pickup. But don’t worry, your order will be safely delivered straight to your door!
Is wine shipped safely?
Absolutely! All wine is carefully packed in protective packaging to prevent damage during transport. Fragile items are always handled with extra care.
Do you deliver internationally?
We currently only deliver within the Netherlands.
