SOMETHING SIMPLE
The savoury fruit and gentle grip suit the soft aubergine and tomato.
FOR SHARING
Fresh acidity and an earthy edge make room for the herbs and browned meat.
Try herb-roasted chicken when you want a red that feels fresh alongside the crisp skin.
Leave the sweet chilli glaze aside; it would hide the tart cherry and earthy detail.

The producer
Lunagaia brings together Cantina Orsogna and BioGaia, a collective of Sicilian growers working biodynamically. The wines celebrate the island’s own grape varieties, from Grillo and Catarratto to Nero d’Avola. Even the labels tell a local story: their vivid scenes draw on Sicilian puppet theatre and the adventures of Orlando Furioso, carrying that cultural connection from vineyard to bottle.
