SOMETHING SIMPLE
Citrus and herbs connect the flavours while the round feel matches the chicken.
FOR SHARING
There is enough weight for the filling, with freshness for the salty cheese.
Try a tomato tart with olives; the rounded feel suits the pastry and the herbal notes fit the olives.
A very sweet berry pudding would cover the subtle herbs and make the finish taste bitter.

Cédric Gravier took over his family’s vines in 1996 and built the cellar that gave La Suffrène its own wines. The vineyards had already been in the family for generations. Spread across small Bandol parcels, they combine Provençal sunshine, clay-limestone soils and the nearby sea’s cooling influence. The estate’s move to organic farming and its agroforestry work carry that family connection into the next chapter.
