The producer
Bakis Tsalkos brought decades of experience in Drama to Oenogenesis, which began operating in 2007. Among the vineyards of Doxato, its courtyard and distinctive architecture recall old Macedonian mansions. Inside, stainless-steel fermentation and a dedicated ageing cellar support a broad range in which Greek grapes meet international varieties, from Assyrtiko with Sauvignon Blanc to Xinomavro with Merlot.
