Six generations of the Sanz family’s wine experience meet a restless curiosity at Menade, founded near Rueda in 2005. Verdejo leads the way, with natural yeasts in the cellar and organic farming outside. Gardens, movable trees and insect shelters bring life into the vineyards, while experiments with clay vessels show how closely the family connects its wines to the land.
