SOMETHING SIMPLE
Concentrated fruit has enough weight for the duck and echoes the apricots.
FOR SHARING
The aromatic intensity suits the spices and the fresh edge balances the coconut.
Try soft Brie with pear; the floral scent and ripe fruit give the cheese a fragrant companion.
A smoky chilli barbecue sauce would hide the rose and lychee aromas.

The producer
Panos and Kristy built Jima beside their family home in Kalomodia, surrounded by gardens and an old citrus grove. Their wines follow three very different corners of Epirus: the breezy Ambracian Gulf, the traditional wine villages of Zitsa and the cooler slopes of Konitsa. Local grapes such as Debina and Vlahiko give that journey its own accent.
