Why it's worth a try

From bold Sicily, Italy
Red & Natural
Rich and bold in the mouth
Intense, daring wine with high impact

Rosso CR 2020 is a natural red from Etna’s Crasa foothills, born from old-vine Nerello Mascalese and a whisper of Nerello Cappuccio, Grenache, and Grecanico. For two weeks, the grapes are foot-tread and plunged on skins, then aged in used 20 hl wooden casks undergoing malolactic fermentation. The result is a fragrant, multi-layered wine, more a textured experience than a beverage.

Vino di Anna is a family-owned winery located on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, Sicily. Founded in 2008 by Anna Martens and Eric Narioo, it spans 8 hectares of old bush vines, including the native Nerello Mascalese. The winery practices minimal intervention winemaking, using natural yeasts, little to no sulfur, and aging in a variety of vessels. The wines showcase Mount Etna’s unique terroir with high acidity, structured tannins, and mineral notes, all made through organic and biodynamic farming practices.

Vino di Anna make a range of organic wines from hand harvested fruit, grown in their high-altitude vineyards on the north face of Mt Etna, Sicily.
