Madér Selva Capuzza 2018
Why it's worth a try
Madér 2018 is a deep ruby-red red blend from the Garda Classico Superiore DOC, crafted by Selva Capuzza in Lombardy. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, this wine offers a complex bouquet of ripe black fruit, peppery notes, and hints of leather and chocolate. On the palate, it is smooth, warm, and enveloping, with velvety tannins, noticeable acidity, and a sweet, persistent finish.
Selva Capuzza
Wines from Truffle Country
Tucked near Lake Garda, Selva Capuzza is a slice of Italian countryside magic: vineyards, olive groves, and even truffle woods. The Formentini family runs this 15th-century estate with a light hand and a lot of love for biodiversity (they even banned hunting to keep the birds singing).
Specialists in local grapes like Turbiana and Groppello, they bottle sunshine and lakeside breeze. Their Lugana and Garda Classico wines are zippy, joyful, and made for good food and better company.
WINE REGION
Lugana: Lakeside Freshness Meets Italian Craftsmanship

Located at the southern tip of Lake Garda, Lugana is a DOC known for its fresh and mineral-driven white wines, primarily made from the Trebbiano di Lugana grape.

Trebbiano di Lugana dominates, producing wines with crisp acidity, floral notes, and a characteristic minerality.

The vineyards are situated on clay-rich soils near the lake, benefiting from the moderating influence of the water and the region's microclimate, which ensures freshness and balance in the wines.
