Why it's worth a try

From refined Piemonte, Italy
Orange & Natural
Rich and bold in the mouth
Unusual, adventurous wine for the curious
12.0% ABV

Oneiro is a Savagnin that walks a fine line between freshness and gentle oxidation. Bright yet deep, it opens with citrus and white blossom, then drifts into hazelnut, dried herbs, and a touch of sherry-like complexity. Hand-harvested, naturally fermented, and left to rest without intervention. Made from Savagnin, a rare grape with a fresh, textured style, it's aromatic, vibrant, and intriguingly layered.

Valdisole

Young but Fearless Roero Craftsmanship

Valdisole is a young winery founded in 2015 by Giuseppe Amato and Kyriaki Kalimeri in the Roero area of Piedmont. Giuseppe, a trained sommelier, and Kyriaki, an engineer, started with half a hectare of abandoned Nebbiolo vines and have since grown to around four hectares. They work organically, harvest by hand, and rely on spontaneous fermentations. No chemical inputs, no filtering, minimal sulphur.

Their wines show a natural, experimental spirit while staying rooted in Roero’s character. Whites often see skin contact, reds are elegant and unforced, and each cuvée highlights texture and purity over polish. Distinctive, raw, and full of life: that’s Valdisole.

WINE REGION

Piemonte: The King of Italian Reds

Lamp icon

One of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, Piemonte produces around 2.5 million hectoliters of wine yearly and is home to over 18,000 wineries. It’s the birthplace of Barolo and Barbaresco—two of Italy’s most celebrated wines.

Grape icon

Known for powerful reds like Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Barolo alone accounts for about 14 million bottles produced annually.

Land icon

Rolling hills, cool Alpine influences, and rich limestone soils make Piemonte ideal for complex, structured wines with excellent aging potential. Fog (or nebbia, which inspired Nebbiolo’s name) is a signature element of the region’s climate.
