Brich Grignolino Agricola Gaia 'Brich' Barbera 2022
Why it's worth a try
This Grignolino punches above its weight. Light on the palate but full of character, it brings red berry brightness with a cheeky hint of spice. Fresh, snappy, and a little wild, like Piemonte’s playful side bottled.
Agricola Gaia
'Brich' Barbera
Fresh Faces in Piemonte
Brich is the new generation of Piemonte winemakers – young, dynamic, and deeply in love with their land. They believe in organic farming, letting nature take its course, and crafting wines that feel fresh, vibrant, and full of life. With a small annual production, they’re proving that Piemonte isn’t just about tradition – it’s about evolution.
Their Barbera and Grignolino are light on intervention but big on character – juicy, drinkable, and unmistakably Piemontese.
WINE REGION
Piemonte: The King of Italian Reds

One of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, Piemonte produces around 2.5 million hectoliters of wine yearly and is home to over 18,000 wineries. It’s the birthplace of Barolo and Barbaresco—two of Italy’s most celebrated wines.

Known for powerful reds like Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Barolo alone accounts for about 14 million bottles produced annually.

Rolling hills, cool Alpine influences, and rich limestone soils make Piemonte ideal for complex, structured wines with excellent aging potential. Fog (or nebbia, which inspired Nebbiolo’s name) is a signature element of the region’s climate.
